Transferring Licensure to Other States

Carthage graduates can be found in classrooms across the United States. While the teacher licensure programs at Carthage initially qualify you for teacher licensure in the State of Wisconsin, candidates are able to be licensed in other states.

If you’re interested in applying for licensure outside of Wisconsin, notify your teacher education advisor as soon as possible. You should also consult the State-by-State Reciprocity Rules Chart for more information on out-of-state teacher certification.
